I really rarely do family sessions. I tend to focus on my newborns and make that my specialty. But I do love shooting families especially when they’re fiends of mine. Natalie is baby Jesse’s mom and I’ve known her since high school. You may recognize Jesse from his newborn session a few months back. Now that he’s growing up, I thought it would be nice to do a shoot for them before the weather got too chilly. Those of you that know me know I don’t do mini sessions. I really want my time to produce my art, I’m a bit of a stickler that way. Because this was a special shoot, I was willing to break my rules a bit. So when I say mini session, I mean mini session!! According to my card, this shoot from start to finish was only 32 minutes… Woah, what??! That’s way outta my comfort zone, but change is good. The different locations were all within a few feet so that helped I’m sure. High Park in Toronto has so many great spots for photography sessions and is so beautiful even in late Fall. Here are a few of my faves from today’s family photo session
