Merh’s 10×14 Baby Album

Hi Everyone!!

I’m back in Toronto from our lovely March Break in gorgeous St. Lucia. Dave and I had a fun time while away and it’s really nice to be refreshed and back to work. I also had some other exciting news right before we left. Our awesome album company Finao asked to use my baby albums as their sample books at WPPI this year!!! I think I caused some serious damage to the floor in my office from all of the jumping up and down The great thing about this is that the WPPI tradeshow in Vegas each year is the hub for all things portrait photography so thousands of the world’s best wedding and portrait photographers would have seen my books on display! This was such a huge honour for me because I truly love Finao.

I also wanted to post one of the cutest little baby’s in the world, Merh. I have such a great blog post lined up for her but I wanted to share with you her Finao 10×14 baby album that we designed as a sneak peek. There are so many baby photo sessions I’m excited to get on the blog but I’ve have newborn shoots every day this week (yes that’s right even I’m on baby time, lol) so I’m a bit behind. I’m also getting ready for the awesome Awaken Workshop here in Toronto at the Gladstone Hotel where I will be speaking on what I love most, Newborn and Baby Photography!!

This baby album is the actually straight out of camera, no retouching, just the proof that I sent Merh’s mom and dad. Can you believe that beautiful skin??! Gorgeous!

I hope you are having a wonderful time in St. Lucia.Charlotte,thank you so much for the CD’s.We got them and they have all the images and it was just amazing seeing them again.I can’t wait to see the album. I know its going to be amazing as well. Here are just a few thoughts and words Rajiv and I wanted to share with you regarding our experience of this photo shoot-

There is a quote ” Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of Loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything”. Charlotte when I first booked this photo shoot with you, I was apprehensive and not sure what I was getting into. All I knew at the time was I needed someone to capture Mehr for who she is, so I can look back at these pictures and relive those moments. Not only did you make us feel comfortable but Mehr felt right at home. Today, when I look at these pictures I feel grateful to have captured those moments because she seems to be growing and changing everyday. I am even more grateful that you were the one who took those photos because you captured her true self, her personality, her little soul. My heart truly thanks you Charlotte because you have given us those moments of Mehr that we will be able to relive everytime we see these pictures. And everytime we see these pictures you will always be the one I will thank ever so much. Thanks,Charlotte.

Awww, thanks so much for being such amazing clients! I love you guys :*) I’ll take some shots of Merh’s album when it arrives so you all can see the finished product. It’s going to be one amazing book!
