Hello Rainbow Eleven Readers!!
I just wanted to put up a quick post as I’ve been getting a lot of emails lately from apprehensive parents wanting to book a shoot but worried about their baby’s skin. Most people think that babies have perfect skin and can’t imagine why and image would need to be retouched… Here’s the answer… even newborns can experience what is called baby acne. It’s a very common skin condition that newborns experience shortly after the first week. Little raised blemishes and bumps on the skin isn’t exactly the way you want to remember your little one at this special time.

This is why it is so important to choose a photographer that offers professional retouching. Baby Carys is a gorgeous little 6 month old, but she experienced dry, red, blotchy skin as soon as the winter weather hit.
