When I was younger, I was never sure what I wanted to be… Of course the thought that I’d win the lottery, maybe be a famous Hollywood actress or rock n’ roll super-star crossed my mind, but as you know none of those avenues panned out
It wasn’t until I picked up a camera that I knew… hey, I might actually enjoy being a baby photographer as not only a hobby but as a career! Taking gorgeous portraits of people and landscapes really spoke to me and I’m so happy I could intertwine an amazing hobby with my livelihood. There is truly something addictive and satisfying about bringing moments of absolute joy and happiness into people’s lives. I’m so happy I can freeze time with my camera and help families hold on to their memories of these teeny tiny little babies before they grow up all too soon. Meet beautiful newborn baby Larissa…

I met her mom Melissa at the Baby Time Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre last month and I have to say I’m thrilled she signed Larissa up for a shoot. She was such a sleepy, perfect little model and I could get her into the most adorable newborn poses. Baby Larissa was booked in at the studio 2 weeks ago but wasn’t ready to make her appearance until 10 days later. It must have been the chilly Toronto weather we’ve been having
Who can blame her!

It’s been great having lots of little baby boys around the studio but it hasn’t given me a chance to use any of the new pink-er props I’ve found. I love these shots with the pink bundle. Isn’t she the cutest newborn baby!

Check out these locks! Can you believe that she has hair like that and Larissa is only 10 days old! I love the little ringlets… Too cute.

Larissa’s mom thought this little pink beanie might be cute so we popped it on. I think she looks like a sweet little elf in this shot!

Adorable!!

Near the end of the shoot Larissa woke up and opened her eyes to say hello! We popped her in the sheep skin and the primitive butter bowl for this series. She really has some big gorgeous eyes doesn’t she?! Check out how they sparkle. So sweet!

Thanks so much to my perfect little newborn model Larissa and her lovely mom Melissa for coming by the studio for a shoot. I hope to see you as baby Larissa grows! And to all of my faithful blog readers, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season… Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah everyone!!
