Hello blog readers!! I’m so sorry it’s been a while since I last wrote. The reason for the delay in blogging is because not only had a HUGE response from our booth at the Baby Time Show but because we’re getting ready for Fiona and Bobby’s awesome tropical wedding in the gorgeous Riviera Maya, Mexico. Yes, that’s right we’ll be shooting and soaking up the sun on the beautiful beach for a week. It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it
Before we headed off, I was itching to get this adorable baby photography session on the blog. It’s a little girl that holds a sweet place in my heart. Little baby Carys! Although I’ve photographed my fair share of babies, toddlers and kids, she was one of my first newborn photography sessions ever.

Carys was only 3 days old when she came by my Toronto studio and I instantly fell in love. She was sooo tiny, she actually fit into her fathers hands! Now look at her! She’s 6 months old and now has her dad wrapped around her little finger

For Carys’ baby shoot, I wanted to try out some of the new props and goodies I bought. I actually made this little tutu above, I love how it puffs straight out like this, too cute! And I love this little pink tutu below! It reminds me of Marilyn Monroe for some reason!

Photographing a baby at 6 months old is so much fun! Not only because they are SO expressive (see below, hehe) but because they can sit up on their own and can’t easily crawl off to do their own thing!

Look at those gorgeous eyes! Sparkly huh?!

Awwww, this is such a cute shot! I love the way she looks in this teddy bear hat, so sweet!

“Hey, wait a second… this doesn’t taste like cotton candy!!” Babies are so curious at this age and love exploring new things especially testing out those taste buds

It was sooo much fun having baby Carys and her mom Fallon along for another baby photography session. Can’t wait to see them at the 9 month mark for another photo shoot! Thanks so much Fallon & Gary, you’re very blessed to have such a sweet little angel
