{Newborn Photography} Christian

Christians mom Melissa was so excited to have some amazing images of her new little addition. I was excited too, not only because I love photographing newborns but because I had yet again another new shipment of baby hats and beanies to try out.

For the first shot I had to try this cute little red elf hat that came in the mail. It was so adorable and I knew it was a perfect fit for Christian when I put it on his little head. I knew with a hat like this I had to put him in an equally cute pose. Check it out! I think that this one is my new favourites. I’ve had a few people on facebook ask me how I did this pose above…  Christian is actually holding his head with his hands. It’s very tricky but sooo worth it if you can get the balance right. What a sweet, sweet little face… Have you ever seen anything so cute and cuddly. I love his perfect little baby lips, cute as a button!

This newborn pose was equally as difficult to get Christian into but well worth the wait

Have you ever heard of a baby that doesn’t cry… well let me take that back, he does cry but not very often and when he does it’s sort of like little sniffs, lol…

These two have to be another couple of my faves… Check out the chubby cheeks, he looks like he’s puckering up for a little kiss. What a cutie patutie!

Ok, ok, I know I said this before, but here is another fave… I love the way the light hits his full little tum-tum. Doesn’t that teddy bear hat look sooo cozy?! I wonder if they make regular sizes

Dave found this awesome vintage looking bucket for my newborn studio. I absolutely adore it! It looks so nice with my new wooden floor. Christian was dreaming away so I wanted to take a few priceless shots of him snoozing in my new photography prop. What an adorable little munchkin!
